Trade Domes: Toki-Zargaron, Toki-Sarrafon, and Toki-Tilpak-Furushon
All that Bukhara was a major trade city in the medieval period know it. Merchants and salespeople from China, Iran, Russia, and India traveled through this city.
Bazars were located on all of the city's major thoroughfares. Each street bazar specialized in a specific type of merchandise.

Later, for the purpose of improvement of the city, the municipality started to erect multiple-arched domes. They are called "toks," which means dome or arch.
Only three of those domes have survived to the present day. They are Sarrafon (moneychanger), Zargaron (jewelry) and Tilpak (headgears). At the center, under the dome, there was a place for the master of décor and people applied art.
Archeologists determined that the domes were built in the 15th and 16th centuries.
Later, three tims of Abdullakhan were joined into three domes. Tim is the main trading structure.From three tims, only one tim for the silk shop reached our days.
There is a gallery with 56 stores under small domes along the perimeter of Tim.
