Chor Bakr Qubba
Chor Bakr Qubba is the necropolis of the sheikhs of Juybar Seyids and is located in the countryside village of Sumitan.
Juybar Seyids in the Samanids period held the highest government posts. Their memorial complex is located in the old part of the necropolis under the burial vault of the founder of the Abu-Bark Sa’ad dynasty.
The main element of Chor Bakr Qubba is its green and planted part. However, "chor bog" stands for "four gardens".
In terms of this, an avenue of trees and shrubberies was specially planted from Qubba to Hiyaban city.
Construction lasted several years and became a family burial vault. Sheikh Hodja Muhammad Islam and his son Hodja Abu Bakr Sa'ad were laid to rest here.
In its way, Chor Bakr Qubba is "the city of the dead" with its current streets, dahmas, courtyards, and monuments.
There are madrasahs, mosques, and khanakas here. Khanakas are two-storied with a big entrance part. Their designs were decorated with arks and wire cobwebs.
In the 20th century, the minaret of Kalyan was built in front of Qubba.
