Madrasah Nadir Divan Begi
Nadir Divan Begi madrasah is one of the most popular madrasahs in Bukhara and is part of the Lyabi House ensemble.
Nadir Divan Begi madrasah was erected in 1622-1623 by the great vizir Imamkuli Khan Nadir Divan-Begi.
Primarily, it served as a caravan-sarai. Some decades later, it was reconstructed into a madrasah.
Reconstruction and renovation of madrasah point to the planning of construction. There is no lecture hall in the madrasah plan. In addition, there is only one hudjra around the courtyard inside the madrasah.
It is known to all that instead of the main entrance that is located on the axis of the portal, there is a lattice window, but the entrance itself diverges on different sides of the construction.
Anyway, the madrasah has a rather narrow entrance that leads to the courtyard.
The entrance of Nadir Divan Begi is decorated with animals and birds: simurgh and deer.
In 1993, the madrasah was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
