Fayziabad Khanaka

Fayziabad khanaka was built in 1598-1599 in Bukhara and located at the northeast part of the city.

Fayziabad khanaka has an attributes of Sufi’s house. This is big domical hall for meditation.
In addition, there were hudjurs for living.

The central hall of the khanaka was rounded with arched galleries.

Its façade was built using three-staged construction. Stages lead from two-storeyed niche to portals and from there to the gallery.

The bowl of the dome was slightly uplifted from its inner part and kept a nexus of latticed sails.

Dome on the inside was decorated with various form of adores.

All ornaments of the Fayzabad khanaka was done simply and with taste without any odds. In its turn, all these give additional simplicity and sublimity to the mosque.
