Madrasah Abdullakhan
In the southwestern part of Ark Citadel, there is yet another well-known architectural monument – the ensemble Kosh madrasah. Represents two madrasahs: Madrasah Modari Khan (1566) and Madrasah Abdulla khan (1566).
Abdulla Khan Madrasah was built in 1588–1590. The architectural monument was placed up four centuries later, after the first construction, and with the portal, it is addressed to Modari Khan Madrasah. By construction, Madrasah Abdulla Khan is almost similar to Modari Khan. Perhaps the only difference is that the madrasah of Abdullah Han is larger and more lavishly decorated than the first architectural ensemble.Beautiful ornaments with colored views attract the sights of tourists. Majolic blocks pour into the sun and give white, dark green and blue colors.
The doors to the Madrasah Abdullah Khan were made by the masters of that time. They consist of certain pieces of rare wood with the presence of delicate embroidery work. By the way, certain pieces of the doors were assembled without a single nail.
The dome as well as the building were decorated with patterns in the shapes of five, eight, and nine angled stars of various sizes.
