The museum of the armed forces
The Museum of Armed Forces was built in Tashkent in 1965. The rich collection of exhibits in the museum reflects the history of the military art of the people and the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The museum is located in the Park of Military Glory "Jasorat", which was opened in 1975.

One of the most colorful exhibits in the museum is archaeological excavations associated with the military art of the Timurids and their political leader, Amir Timur. These are: strategic plans and military maps, clothes and weapons, the circuits of the troops, banners, and a diorama of the Battle of 1395, "Amir Timur versus Khan Tokhtamysh."
The exposition in the museum devoted to the participation of soldiers from Uzbekistan in World War II is very interesting. Visitors can see examples of military equipment, guns and rockets, aircraft, combat vehicles, and tanks.
