The Museum of Public Health K.S. Zairova

The Museum of Public Health, named after Zairova, opened in 1973. He is one of the most important monuments in the development of medicine in Uzbekistan.
A professor who worked at that time at the Department of Medical History founded the Tashkent Museum of Public Health and Cultural Studies at the Moscow Medical Academy named after IM Sechenov-Michael Yarovinsky.
The museum exhibition consists of six departments and contains over 12,000 different exhibits. The entire collection tells visitors about the history of medicine from the very beginning of the history of Uzbekistan until the present day. Here, visitors can see sculpture and graphics, documents, manuscripts, photographs, and archaeological excavations.
An important item in the Tashkent museum named after KS Zairova is a large collection of historical surgical instruments. These tools have been specially restored by Master G. Izmestieva in accordance with the Avicenna manuscript.
