A Museum of Olympic Glory
The Museum of Olympic Glory was created to perpetuate the history of the most prestigious international competitions in which Uzbekistan participated. Thus demonstrating Uzbekistan's athletes' records in all international competitions.
The Museum of Olympic Glory was built with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers, and it was opened on September 1, 1996.

At the ceremony marking the opening of the museum, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, I.A. Karimov, and the president of the International Olympic Committee, Xuan Antonio Samaranch, took part.
The square of the exhibition hall is 1073 and the common square of the museum is 2121 sq. meters.
In the museum of Olympic glory, visitors can see the memorable cups, gold and silver medals, documents relating to the history of the Asian and Olympic torch and souvenirs, clothing and sports equipment for athletes and even rare commemorative coins.
The main pride of the museum of Olympic glory is considered the gold medals, which were received by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, for his contribution to the development of sports in the country. It includes such medals as the Gold Order from the Association of National Olympic Committees, the Gold Order from the International Olympic Committee, the Gold Order from the Olympic Council of Asia, etc.
The number of principal exhibits is 2088. However, only half of them include constant exhibits.
