State Literary and Memorial House-Museum of Sergey Borodin

State Literary and Memorial House-Museum of Sergey Borodin was opened in 1981. House-Museum is dedicated to the literary work and life of an outstanding Russian writer.

Sergey Borodin was a Soviet novelist and the author of interesting historical novels. He was born September 12, 1902, in Moscow. He has published his first work when he was 12 years old. However, seven years later, in 1922, he published his first collection of poems.
The first historical novel that has brought success to the author was "Dmitry Donskoy" and next was "Stars above Samarkand".

His famous trilogy "Stars above Samarkand" tells us about Tamerlane, the life of the Caucasus and Central Asia in the 14-15th centuries.

The State literary-memorial house-museum of Sergey Borodin reflects the main events in the writer’s life in the 20th century.

There are several halls and memorial parts. In the first room, you can see documents and photo archives of the childhood and adolescence of Borodin and his letters, sketches and photographs from the life of the great writer.

The second half of the exposition tells visitors about the work of the great writer
In the memorial part, you can feel the environment in which famous writers lived and worked. You can also walk through the living room to see his library and parlour.
