The Samarkand Art Gallery

The Samarkand Art Gallery is an original and unique collection of works of art from different periods, gathered in one place. Together, they describe and talk about East Asian culture.

The gallery includes more than 4,000 paintings, sculptures, graphics, and coinage.
Tourists can see here not only paintings by Uzbek artists but also foreign artists. For example, Richard Sommer, Samuel Dudin, Vasily Vereshchagin, Usto Mumin, and many others.

Almost all the paintings were written in a realistic style. It is "Emir Palace in Samarkand", "Steppe hunters", "Native Jew", "Singer with dutar", and "The Mulfah at a School".

As an example of the touching and interlacing of two schools (East and West) in art, there are such paintings as "Dervish" (S. Dudina) and "Boy with Quail" (D. Mumin). Boore's paintings depict the familiar streets and houses of the ancient cities of Samarkand and Bukhara.

Our travel agency, "Orient Mice," will be happy to provide you with transport, hotel, and professional guides who will show you not only the city, but also tell you amazing stories about the architectural monuments of Samarkand.
