In 1908-1910, the Vizir erected an ensemble, which included a high minaret and small madrassas.
The height of the minaret was 57 meters, and the diameter was 9.5 meters. It was the highest minaret in the old city. It is one of the sights in the city of Uzbekistan that we recommend visiting.
The minaret was built with bricks. Simplicity in the scenery, making it a very elegant and beautiful monument, and at the same time emphasizing its lightness and monumentality.
A mosaic in turquoise, blue, and white with blue flowers shimmers in the sun, attracting tourists.
Famous artists were engaged in the construction of a minaret as well as madrassas. They were Kalandar Kuchum, Balta Weiss, and many others.
On the top floor of the minaret of Islam-Khoja is a viewing platform. A very nice view of the city is available from here.
Along the perimeter of the patio, the ensemble settled 42 hudzhuries.
On the southeastern side of the madrasah is a mosque. Its mikhrab niche is decorated with carved ganch and majolica.
Our travel agency, "Orient Mice," is pleased to provide you with transport and professional guides who will show you not only Uzbekistan's capital, but also tell you amazing stories about the architectural monuments of Khiva.
