Kazi Kalyan Madrasah

Salim Ahoon Khan, who was the chief judge, built Kazi Kalyan Madrasah in 1905.

Here, along with religion, students studied law and regulations relating to different taxes and fees. The Khorezm Museum of Applied Art is now housed in this structure.
Visitors of the museum have possibility to see works of art refer to the 18th - 20th centuries, as well as to get acquainted with objects of applied art and works of the most famous artists who lived and worked in city for many years.

There is woodwork, stone carving, carpet weaving, ceramics, jewelry, embossing, clothing, etc.

In the Museum of Applied Art and Life, visitors can explore the diversity of notable ceramics from Khorezm, for example, handles for knives, vases, pitchers, dishes, and even pieces of musical instruments.
