Juma Mosque. The minaret of Juma mosque
The Juma Mosque was built in the historic city of Ichan-Kala. It was raised by a dignitary of Khan's—Abdurahman Mihtar.
Despite the fact that this building is a small room with a shed, it is considered a rare type of mosque with a large number of columns.
The columns for the Juma mosque were gathered from rioting and looting medieval monuments, but the majority of them were specially carved out of tree trunks in the 18th and 19th centuries.Another part of the column refers to the 10–12 century.

In the decoration of these columns was engaged "faqih" Abul Fadl al-Muhammad Lyaysi, who decided to make a generous gift to the mosque and was personally involved in the design and decoration of the columns.
Level columns are provided with bases and pillows made of stone. A "ganch" semi-dome covers the Mihrab niche, with flowers painted with iris and rose hips on both sides.
On the marble board was specially engraved the text "vakfname." Vakfname is a certificate diploma, wherein is written mosque income.
The mosque was built in the 18th century.
Lighting in the mosque creates a special atmosphere for prayer. The sun's rays slip through the 212 wooden columns and three specially built hatches in the ceiling.
The height of the minaret of Juma mosque is 32,5 meters, and the diameter at the base is 6,2 meters. Its top is surmounted by a lantern with an eight-arched stalactite cornice and dome.
The entrance gate and minaret were decorated with carvings made by great artisans and woodcarvers.
