Madrasah Muhammad Rahim Khan

Madrassah of Muhammad Rahim Khan was erected in front of the gates of Kunya-Ark.

This madrasa is one of the largest madrasas in Khiva.

In 1876, Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrassah was built by the decision of Sayid Muhammad Rahim Khan II.
Planning of madrasah has a rectangular shape with a courtyard where four aivans with different heights and lengths are.

There are towers that are located at the corners of the yard.

Entrance to the madrasah was flanked by wings, which had a five-span arcade niches.

The Hujras in the madrassah of Muhammad Rahim Khan were covered with domes named "Balkhi".
