Walk Tashkent-Samarkand-Tashkent for 1 day

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the railway station of Tashkent for your train to Samarkand. You will visit Abdulla's carpet workshop, "Hojom," a famous Samarkand carpet factory where 400 girls weave hand-made silk carpets. You will have the opportunity to see the full process of carpet making from the very beginning. After that, you can walk along the local Broadway, surrounded by souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets, and workshops. Then you can visit the national bazaar, Siab, an oriental bazaar, where it is easy to find Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. In addition, you will visit Koni Gil paper mill (10 kms from Samarkand, 2 hrs)—a revival of old technology in paper production. Evening return to Tashkent are by train.
