Al Gijduvani memorial complex

Abdul-Khaliq Gijduvani was a spiritual mentor (murshid). He was 10th in the continuity of the spiritual link from Tariqa sheikhs to Nakshbandiya.

He was born in a small town called Gijduvan, and got his religious knowledge in Bukhara, where he was a pupil of the scholar Allama Sadraddinov.
Gijduvani was the founder of the famous, at that time, Central Asian Sufi schools-"hadzhagan," which in translation means "road of Hadzha." All school followers voluntarily agreed to adopt an ascetic lifestyle. Today, there are no more documents about workers and architects.

The modern memorial al-Gijduvani complex was erected in the 19th century. Not far from the historical place of Ulugbek Madrasah.

Unfortunately, we do not have information about the builders and architects of the complex.

Our travel agency, "Orient Mice," provides you with pleasure, transport and expert guides who will show you not only the city but also the famous workshops and museums of Gidjuvan.
