Tour Program

Day 1: Bishkek – Burana – Tash Rabat

You will be picked up in the morning and will start your journey to Tash Rabat Caravanserai (a 14th Century Stone Castle) on the Great Silk Road. Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of the Tian Shan Mountains. On the way to Tash Rabat you will visit the Burana Tower (an 11th century minaret) and an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). We will have a break In Kochkor village, where a local family will show you how our national felt carpets are made. You will also get to visit a small handicraft museum there. Your night will be in nomadic yurts near Tash Rabat Castle.

Day 2: Tash Rabat – 33 Parrots – Kochkor – Bishkek
