Batken
Batken is one of the enchanting cities of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, which lies in the south-west of the country. Within the reach of Osh considering overall territory, the city is considered not to be large. a total of 5.180 hectares. It has a population of only 23,134 people. Most of the territory is used for agriculture.
Initially, it was a tiny village of the same name, which had originated in 1934. In 1934, the village had been under several assailments and only in 2000; it did receive the status of a city.
The city had been divided into six main blocks in its territorial-administrative provision. These are Kyzyl-Jol, Kelechek, Bulak-Bashi, Kyzyl-Don, Bazar-Bashy, and Aeroport.
A particular city does not have special importance in history. There are no attractions or preserved historical or architectural monuments. Tourists usually do not visit this town due to its absence of prominence.
