Tour Khodjeyli/Kunya-Urgench-Kone-Urgench-Darvaza-Ashgabat for 2 days

Meet the group in the morning at the border of Khojeyli/Kunya-Urgench, then visit the architectural monuments of Kunya-Urgench, the capital of Khorezm 10–12 centuries. The settlement was once the site of a sulfur plant that closed in the 1960s. The search for gas in the Soviet period led to the appearance of a curious series of attractions in this area: several large round craters, one of which is burning. The crater has a roughly circular shape in plan, about 60 meters in diameter. Another deep round hole, this somewhat smaller crater, is surrounded by a metal barrier. There is no fire here, although it also smells strongly of gas. Another crater is located about 18 km south of Darvaza, on the western side of the main road, and is almost visible from it. At the horse farm, you can see Akhal-Teke horses. This is the pride of the Turkmen people. There are more than 30 beautiful horses on the horse farm. In the afternoon, you will visit the "Old Nisa"—the Sanctuary of the Parthian Kings. Nisa existed for 600 years and was the capital of the Parthian Empire. She was the greatest enemy of the Roman Empire. At the moment, it is a UNESCO site. The tour will continue with a visit to the Jipjak Mosque and the family mausoleum of the first President of Turkmenistan. Then you will visit the Russian bazaar, the Ertugrul Gazi Mosque, and walk around the square. You will also visit the Seyit-Jemal-Ad-Din mosque. In the evening, you will have a city tour. You will visit the main tourist attractions: The Arch of Neutrality and the Wedding Palace. After the tour, you will go to the airport.
