Tour Ashgabat-Gas crater-Darvaza-Ashgabat-Kou-Ata-Nokhur-Ashgabat for 6 days

An accompanying guide will meet you at the Ashgabat International Airport. After breakfast, you will begin a tour of Ashgabat.

Today you will visit the "Old Nisa" - the Sanctuary of the Parthian Kings - Nisa was the capital of the Parthian Empire, which existed for 600 years and was the greatest enemy of the Roman Empire and a UNESCO site, continue with the mosque "Dzhipjak" and the Family Mausoleum of the first President of Turkmenistan. Then you can see the Russian bazaar. After lunch, you will have a walk along Lenin Square, a visit to the Ertugrul Gazi Mosque. You will also have an evening tour of the city - a visit to the main tourist attraction: the Arch of Neutrality, the Wedding Palace.

The whole day is devoted to a walk around the exhibition.

The tour will begin with a visit to the National Museum. In the afternoon you will have a trip to Darvaza. The path will pass through the Karakum Desert, and you will see the communities of the Erbent Desert. You will be able to visit the gas crater and enjoy an incredible view of the crater. The crater surprises with its beauty, warmth and peaceful sounds created by this giant furnace. Then you will return to Ashgabat.

Then you will go to the village of Nohur. The village itself is located in a small depression in the mountains of the Kopetdag range, and the houses are built of local boulders cemented with mud. In addition to the main street, the other streets are very narrow, which makes it difficult for transport to move through them. The local inhabitants of Nohur are very different from other Turkmen tribes. Their villages are located in the mountainous border zone covering Turkmenistan and Iran. The population of Nohur is 1-2 thousand people. On the way back to Ashgabat, you will visit the underground lake Kou-Ata, which is located 107 km from Ashgabat. Kou-Ata translates as "Father of Caves". The cave will enchant you with its magnificent beauty: the total length of the cave is 230 m, its height reaches 20 m, and its width, in some places, is 57 m. The bottom of the cave is covered with blocks of dissolved limestone (stalactites). The water in the cave is warm, transparent, and emerald-colored with a temperature of 33–37 °C (you can swim in the lake there). You will also enjoy an evening tour of the city.
