Next, you will have a tour of the Monument to Neutrality and the Memorial Complex (Eternal Flame). In the afternoon, you will visit the "Old Nisa"—the Sanctuary of the Parthian Kings. Nisa existed for 600 years and was the capital of the Parthian Empire. She was the greatest enemy of the Roman Empire. At the moment, it is a UNESCO site. In the first half of the day, you will visit the underground lake Kou-Ata, which is located 107 km from Ashgabat. Kou-Ata translates as "Father of Caves". The bottom of the cave is covered with blocks of dissolved limestone (stalactites). The water in the cave is warm, transparent, and emerald-colored with a temperature of 33–37 °C (you can swim in the lake there). Then you will go to the village of Nohur. The village itself is located in a small depression in the mountains of the Kopetdag range, and the houses are built of local boulders cemented with mud. In addition to the main street, the other streets are very narrow, which makes it difficult for vehicles to move through them. The local inhabitants of Nohur are very different from other Turkmen tribes. Their villages are located in the mountainous border zone covering Turkmenistan and Iran. After breakfast, we will go to another village. The village itself occupies a small depression in the mountains of the Kopetdag range, and the houses are built of local boulders cemented with mud.Apart from the main street running through the city center, the streets are so narrow that they barely fit a car between the high stone retaining walls on each side. The Thenokur people who inhabit this remote mountainous area are very different from other Turkmen tribes. Then we will visit Sumbar Canyon. Today you will visit the holy place of Shibli Baba, the Ovezberdi Mausoleum, the Koshemir Waterfall, and see the landscapes of the "Moon Mountains". Then we will go to Dehistan. Dehistan is a historical region in the west of Turkmenistan, famous for the large Mashad Cemetery with the mausoleum of Shir Kabir (10th century) and the ruins of the city of Messarian (10–15th centuries). These places were called the "Land of Darkness." From this comes the name Dehistan. Messaria, the central city (9th–10th centuries), was a vibrant and prosperous city on the Great Silk Road. But in the 15th century, it completely disappeared. Currently, there are two ancient minarets, the remains of city walls and gates, mosques, and other buildings in which the spirit of the ancient way of life has remained. You will spend the night in a tent. Then you will go to Balkanabat.

Today you will visit the pilgrimage site of Gozli Ata. Gozli Ata is distinguished by its remote place of pilgrimage to shrines in Turkmenistan and beautiful surroundings. It is located in the center of a natural bowl and is surrounded by ledges of rock. You will be able to see a panoramic view of these rocks with pink and white stripes. As mentioned in the sources, Gozli Ata was a respected Sufi. He lived in the early 14th century. After breakfast, we will visit one of the most beautiful natural places in Turkmenistan – the Yangikala Canyons, located 165 km north of Balkanabat and 160 km east of Turkmenbashi. The word "yangikala" means "fiery fortresses" in Turkmen. It got its name because of the sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ochre, purple, and red. The rocks resemble stone castles from science fiction movies. At sunset, you will get a fascinating panoramic view. During this period of the day, everything is painted a fiery red. Once, the depth of the canyons was equal to the depth of the ancient sea. At the end of the tour, you will go to Avaza. On the way, you will make a stop in Turkmenbashi for rest.

In the morning, you will go to the national tourist zone of "Avaza". It is a district of the city of Turkmenbashi and is also a resort in the east of the Caspian Sea. It is located 12 kilometers from the center of the city of Turkmenbashi. You will have a free day on the Caspian Sea. After that, you will go to Turkmenbashi to return to Ashgabat. Upon arrival, you will have an excursion to the Russian Bazaar and Lenin Square.
