Tourist trip to Ashgabat for 4 days

An accompanying guide will meet you at the International Airport. Today you will have a tour of the largest city of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, called the "city of white marble". Arrival in Ashgabat by morning flight. Ashgabat is the capital and largest city of Turkmenistan, despite the fact that it is a relatively young city. In 2013, the Guinness Book of World Records named Ashgabat "the city of white marble" – here you can see the largest number of structures in the world made of white marble.  Today you will go to the Rukhi Mosque (spiritual mosque) in Kipchak, built between 2002 and 2004 and one of the five largest mosques in the world. The capacity of the mosque is 20,000 people. Today we will go to the village of Bagyr, which is located 18 km from Ashgabat. This is the fortress of Nyssa, the sanctuary of the Parthian kings. Nisa was the capital of the Parthian Empire, which lasted 600 years and was the greatest enemy of the Roman Empire and a UNESCO site, It was founded by Arsaces I (ruled 250 BC - 211 BC), and later Nyssa became the royal necropolis of the Parthian kings. We will also visit the Carpet Museum and the National Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Today you will visit the fortress of Gokdepe and the horse farm. In December 1880, the Fortress of Gokdepe was attacked by the Russians under the command of General Mikhail Skobelev. The siege of Gokdepe lasted twenty-three days, after which the city was taken by storm. The Gokdepe Mosque was built in memory of the defeat. Gokdepe is popular for its mint-turquoise roof and white marble structure. You will also visit the Gokdepe Museum dedicated to the war. At the horse farm you can see Akhal-Teke horses. This is the pride of the Turkmen people. There are more than 30 beautiful horses on the horse farm. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast we  will drive National museum.  Then you will visit the Alem Ferris Wheel, a panoramic tour to the Bagh Koshgi (wedding Palace) and the Independence Monument. In the afternoon, you will visit the underground lake Kou-Ata, which is located 107 km from Ashgabat. Kou-Ata translates as "Father of Caves". The cave will enchant you with its magnificent beauty: the total length of the cave is 230 m, its height reaches 20 m, and the width in some places is 57 m. The bottom of the cave is covered with blocks of dissolved limestone (stalagmites). The water in the cave is warm, transparent and emerald-colored with a temperature of 33-37 ° C (you can swim in the lake there). Overnight at the hotel.
