Tour Bukhara-border "Farap"-Mary-Merv-Ashgabat for 4 days

Upon arrival in Turkmenistan, you will go to Mary via Turkmenabat. Today you will have an excursion to Ancient Merv, located on the former banks of the Murghab River, was the most important node of the Silk Road. He received the highest flourishing under the Seljuk governor Sanjar. The name Merv comes from the collective name of five urban centers that existed in different periods from the VI century BC to the XVIII century AD. Gonur Depe is considered the fifth center of ancient civilization, next to Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, and China. In the Bronze Age, there was a remarkable civilization known variously as Margush, which means "lowland", or by the Greek name Margiana. Since 1970, archaeological groups have made a number of discoveries in these places. The expedition was led by Professor Viktor Sarianidi. Then the excursion program to Mary: the Russian Orthodox Church, the main bazaar of the city, the Central Mosque, and the City Museum. "Ancient Nisa"-the Sanctuary of the Parthian kings- Nisa was the capital of the Parthian Empire, which lasted 600 years and was the greatest enemy of the Roman Empire and is a UNESCO site. At the horse farm, you can see Akhal-Teke horses. This is the pride of the Turkmen people. There are more than 30 beautiful horses on the horse farm. Then you will return to Ashgabat.
