In the Republic, the majority of land is located on mountain passes where the air temperature is much lower, compared with the green meadows of Kyrgyzstan. A wind from the west brings storms, rain and snow falls.

Spring in Kyrgyzstan is very short. Since May, I have felt a significant warming. Summer lasts until the first month of autumn. At this time, the temperature reaches over 40 °C.

Autumn lasts until December, and then begins a snowy winter. In this season, mountain resorts are open, where you can enjoy snowboarding and skiing.

At the same time, you have to pack warm clothes. Winter frosts are very severe in some regions. The temperature frequently falls below -10 °C, but there have been instances when it has dropped as low as 50 °C.

Kyrgyzstan is a territory that occupies a large part of the high mountains. Rare animals inhabit it, and this country has a rich flora. Nature lovers are drawn to lakes with crystal-clear water, waterfalls, and Mountain Rivers.

The total area of the Republic is equal to 198.5 square kilometers. We can say that almost all the territory belongs to the western part of the Tien Shan Mountains.

The magnificence and uniqueness of nature in this region is simply amazing. An eco-friendly environment, remoteness from oceans, and other factors contribute to a rich plant and animal world.

There are mountains, steppes, swamps, and forests.

Kyrgyzstan is built on the Taraz Mountains. Many believe that Kyrgyzstan is a kind of second Switzerland, with pristine nature.

Very massive mountain ranges and closed intermountain valleys contributed to the formation of more than 6000 glaciers, which created the so-called "Arctic".

One of the high points is almost the whole Tien Shan mountain system. In the eastern part is located "The Victory Peak." It is about 7.439 meters above sea level. "The Lenin Peak" is present in the southern part. It reached 7.134 meters above sea level.

In Kyrgyzstan, there are over 27,000 rivers and there are more than 2000 lakes and artificial reservoirs.
