The Termez Archaeological Museum
The Termez Archaeological Museum is located in Surkhandarya. Over 30 thousand exhibits can tell visitors about the spiritual development and formation of Termez.
This museum is the only specialized museum in the whole Central Asian region.
The museum's funds are divided into seven directions by historical periods.

The exposition is very rich in its exhibits. There are numismatics, sculpture, painting, photo archives, documentation, periodicals, books, archaeological sites, household items.
Here are not only sculptures and coins, but also relief maps of the Surkhandarya region, on which are marked all the excavations and historical monuments.
Exhibits that were found during archaeological excavations have a long history. Starting with primitive stone tools to works of art (100 thousand BC to the early 20th century BC).
The museum staff constantly conduct archaeological excavations and research work, thus enlarging the exhibits of the museum collection.
