In 1972, the factory was opened. From 1982 to 1993, the Yodgorlik factory remained state property, but in 2000, it became private.
Initially, four experts have been specially sent for training in India. After returning, they were able to convey all the secrets and skills of famous weavers. They also have learned the basis for the preparation and use of natural dyes for silk products.

Currently, the factory "Yodgorlik" cooperates with partners from such countries as Germany, India, Russia, Iran, and South Korea. The factory releases about 6 thousand meters of silk fabric per year.

The factory employs more than 400 people, half of them women. They produce silk threads and manage looms. All production at the factory is handmade. The factory’s visitors can be acquainted with the production of silk fabrics.
