Kostanay

The Kazakh city of Kostanay was founded in 1879 by two immigrants from Russia and Ukraine.

It was built as one of the shopping centers, and they held different fairs here every year where people could share different animals, household goods, and food.

Gradually, began the construction of the mills, the small plants in a small village.

1913 played a significant role in the development and regeneration of the city. This year, the city was united by iron tracks with other cities, and this fact has contributed to the development of trade in Kostanay.

In Kazakhstan, everyone knows the name Ibrai Altynsarin. He opened several schools and was the author of several textbooks for schoolchildren.

Ibrahim Altynsarin is considered a translator of many stories and tales by Russian writers and fabulists. He was also one of the founders of Kazakh national literature. Kostanay is the hometown of this great person.

There was the discovery of an iron-ore position, which was decided to be called, in honor of the city, Kostanay.

Kostanay cannot be called an ancient city in Kazakhstan, and there are no landmarks in it. Nevertheless, that is no reason not to come here and walk along its shady streets.
