Exciting News: AirAsia X Launches Regular Flights to Uzbekistan!

On February 3, 2025, AirAsia X Berhad received official permission from the Uzbekistan Aviation Agency to operate regular flights between Kuala Lumpur and Tashkent. This decision is based on the intergovernmental Air Services Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

Flights on this route will be operated using the Airbus A330 aircraft, offering passengers a comfortable and modern travel experience.

Currently, regular flights between Uzbekistan and Malaysia are provided by Uzbekistan Airways (Wednesdays and Sundays) and Batik Air (Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays), totalling 5 flights per week.

In 2024, a total of 49,749 passengers travelled between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, highlighting the growing connection and demand between these two nations.
